Running Windows XP, Acrobat 7.0.
When I follow an HTML link from an Outlook message, the PDF file opens for a second, then closes immediately. No issues with opening PDF's from saved files.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 7.0, Windows

There was an issue associated with this when "Display PDF In Browser" was deselected in the Internet preferences in Acrobat or Adobe Reader 7; however, it was corrected with 7.0.8 update.
What point version of Acrobat 7 are you using?

Try updating to 7.0.8 or later to correct the problem.

I recently installed Acrobat 9.0 Pro and when I open Microsoft Outlook I do not see the option Adobe PDF which would allow me to archive my email as pdf's. What am I doing wrong?

This problem is usually associated with the PDFMaker macro (Adobe PDF option in Outlook) being on the Office 2007 application's Disabled Items list. Here is a technical note to correct the problem.
