linking attachments

i have a .ppt file in my attachments. Can i link this file to an item in my pdf main file? How do i do this? When i select the linking tool, how do i tell it to go to the .ppt file?

Hi lorihajost,

I would suggest that you use the link feature in Powerpoint to link to your main PDF file, then attached it to the PDF.

I have a similar question. I understand that it's possible to attach files such as word, excel, PPT, etc in the attachments section of a pdf. What I'd like to know is if it is possible to create a link within the main pdf document that then opens up the native file in a new window in its own program.

example: In my Pdf i have a button that says click on link to open up a Powerpoint, the PPT file that I have attached now opens up in Powerpoint, not as a converted pdf.
