linking to bookmarks

I need to provide links on a Media Wiki page to a large training PDF doc. Each link needs to go to a particular Section within the PDF (a specific bookmark)...is this possible? It would be similar to creating an 'anchor' on a web page...but I need this to happen within the PDF document that has been uploaded to a web.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 7.0.0, Windows

You can link directly to a Named Destination in a PDF using HTTP links.

To accomplish this, you'll first need to create Named Destinations in your PDF to match your bookmarks. You can do this manually in Acrobat, but it's laborious.

There are a few plugins that will convert bookmarks into Named Destinations automagically - search Google for "convert bookmarks named destinations".

As for how to link directly to a Named Destination, see this TechNote:

Note that Page 1 of the PDF must load first, thereafter your target page will load. It behooves you to keep Page 1 small. ALSO, it's very important to utilize Fast Web View to ensure that larger PDFs perform the way you want.
