I have a Word 2000 document with hyperlinks to an external Powerpoint file. The hyperlink is to a specific slide number. When I convert the Word file to PDF the hyperlink is created, but it just links to the begining of the Powerpoint document and not to my particular slide. I need it to link to the particular slide. I have about 500 such links in my document. Can anyone help?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8, Windows

Unfortunately, if you links don't hold in the PDF file you need to edit all the link destinations in Acrobat. Word doesn't provide you many options for changing the link atrributes.

Is there a way then, from Acrobat, to tell the link to point to a specific PowerPoint slide? I looked under the edit function, hoping I could simply add the slide number to the end of the link, but I could not do this. - Thank you
