The Loupe Tool and Pan & Zoom Window functions do not work. on my Acrobat 9 Pro Extended. They both worked fine on Acrobat 8 Pro 3D. They also work fine on Reader 8.1.3 and Reader 9.0. I even tried removing and reinstalling Acrobat. No luck. Can anyone help?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro Extended 9.0, Windows

Michael,

Thank you for the feedback. However, I don't see the connection between setting the configuration for 3D Capture and the use of the Loupe Tool and the Pan & Zoom Window functions. Maybe I'm missing something obvious between the 3D Capture and these functions. If not, I'm still at a loss as to why these functions are working in Pro Extended.

Hi Retter,

I was thinking that this issue might have something to do with the support (or lack of support) of 2D Graphics Acceleration (as in, perhaps these is something you might look into related to some Preference setting ) - or that maybe you were using some unsupported Video Card.

I shared thess links to help you look at the problem from another angle, but obviously that did not help.

Sorry - it does not sound like a bug, as the boards would be lit up with complaints - do you have any other CPUs available you might try to install on and test ? Maybe it is something weird with this one box.

I have a similar problem as reported by Retter with a new upgrade from Acr 7 Pro to Acr 9.4 Pro. No Loupe Tool Window, butPan and Zoom Window does work. My computer is a good one, a Lenova T61 running Windows XP Pro. 2D excelleration is selected. There must be someway to fix this!

I had the same proublem. Acrobat pro 9.3.4, Windows XP
Under the preferences, 3D&Multimedia, untick "Enable hrdware rendering for legacy video cards"
After doing that, the loupe tool worked properly!
