mailto link problem

My laptop has Window XP sp2. I have Acrobat Professional 8 and IE 6 sp2. Outlook 2003 is my email program. I have also tried this on a laptop with Reader 7 and IE and Outlook the same version as listed above.
Question: My links in PDF documents which are mailto:xxxx dont work if the web browser integration is on. I turned the integration off and they work again. My concern is for the users of these docs over the internet who have the integration on which is the default. Do I have something wrong in the way I created the link? I am using the "open a web link" action then typing in the URL mailto:name@company. Or is my office's configuration of IE the problem?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8, Windows

Try this. Place a Javacript in the Submit button.

Edit this codes email address. You can send a cc by entering the 2nd email address between the quotes.

this.mailDoc(true, "yourname [at] youremail [dot] com", "cc emailAddressHere", "", "Subject here");It may take a few seconds for the email application to open. Be patient.

My favorite quote - "Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.

Thank you pddesigner. After hours of looking for a submit function to be able to add CC emails and my own subject line, yours' worked the best and first time.
