Just upgraded to acrobat 8 Profession on user workstation. When shopens andy PDF, it opens to a narrow column and only the "X", no maximize or minimize buttons in the to right of the PDF screen. Only happening when opening and existing PDF.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.1.1, Windows

I have this problem because of a certain plug in that is - I'm guessing - not a certified plug-in. Go to - is the last box ticked? (Use only certified plug-ins). If not, check it and restart Acrobat. Do you still have the problem? If not, that's the only fix, but its applicability is somewhat limited as you probably would like to use the offending plug-in! But that's as much as I can help.
