Menus Turn Black (Acrobat Pro 8.1.3)

My Acrobat menu's turn black, and don't change back to normal unless I close all instances of Acrobat and restart the application. Also, as I scroll the mouse over the blackened menu's they reappear, "File," "Edit," "View," and so on. But, as soon as I remove the cursor from the menu's they turn black again.

What's up with that? Anyone heard of the cause, or fix?
