I have a lot of folders of photos. Here is what I want to do:

1. make each folder of photos to be a single pdf;
2. OCR each pdf to be searchable.

Can anyone tell me how to make it automatically be done, because I have really a lot of folders?

Thank you all!!!

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.4, Macintosh

It can be done, but requires several separate (batch) processes:
1. Convert all images to PDF files.
Run a "blank" batch process on your input folder.
2. OCR all the PDF files.
There's a built-in action to do that.
3. Combine all PDF files in a folder to a single file.
Can be achieved using this tool, created by me: Batch Combine All Files in a Folder
Unfortunately, you will have to run each process manually.

Batch processes are available in Acrobat Pro. They can be used to execute the same command on multiple files.
In Acrobat Pro X they are called Actions.
In your version (9.4) you can find them under Advanced - Document Processing - Batch Processing...

You can also do: File > Combine > Merge Files into a Single PDF
