Good day,

I have a project and am wondering the best way to proceed. I receive pdf documents that are often 4 to 12 pages in length. I have many of these documents that I have accumulated over time. My project is ... and therefore questions are ...
1) is there a tool that would allow me to merg all of these pdf documents (which were created from a word processor; probably MS Word).
2) When they are all merged, I then need to index the content and sort like content together.

Note, the information/content of each of these documents would be formatted to include indents for topic and sub-topic. My goal is to bring all like topics together (which would include their sub topics).

Thanks,

1) Acrobat.
2) Not sure what you mean, exactly, but this probably needs to be done on the original files, not on the PDF files.

Example ... you see there are two defined categories with bullets within. I need to bookmark the categories and sort like bookmarks together ... testing the idea now, but maybe someone has some advice on how or if this can be done.

Major enhancements are highlighted in this document, ...

• Item Unit Control

o now contains the ability for a company to setup, buy, sell and
maintain both serialized and lot controlled inventory.
o Screen redesign, or screen modifications, took place in Shipping, Receiving,
Quantity Adjustments, Kit Processing and Physical Inventory. Control numbers
are now visible during review of the current inventory.
o A new report, that will soon be followed by an application inquiry, now shows all
the transactions related to a unit controlled item.

• Reworks

o The system now provides the user with the ability to setup/define items that are
constructed and built from other items via a 3rd party. The prior sentence almost
sounded just like Kit Processing, however, the ability to have it done by a 3rd
party with an incremental cost added to the already owned inventory is what
makes this functionality unique.
