Microsoft Office Word missing from Edit/Preferences/Convert to PDF

I need to do a batch conversions of Microsoft Office Word documents, but on the machine I need to use, Microsoft Office Word is missing from the list of options under Edit/Preferences/Convert to PDF.

- I do have other Office applications listed, such as Excel and Powerpoint
- Using Acrobat Pro 9 with the 9.2 update
- Using Office 2007
- Windows XP
- Have tried repairing the Install of Acrobat to no avail.

At this point, I can only convert Word documents one at a time by opening each one and going to the Acrobat add.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.2, Windows

I haven't heard of this one before. You might try re-creating your Preferences or creating a new user account on XP to see if it corrects the problem. Step number 4 of the following troubleshooting guide details how to re-create your Preferences:

Thank you for your suggestions.

I followed the steps to recreate the Preferences folder under my profile, however the Preferences folder is not being recreated.

I created a new user on this machine and logged in as that user, and had the same issue. Oddly enough, a Preferences folder was not created for that user under Documents and Settings\[Profile]\App data....Etc.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks!

Is this a corporate packaging of the Acrobat product or just a retail copy?

Yes, this machine in question is using a corporate packaging of Acrobat....The one that works correctly is a retail copy.
