Windows XP Pro SP3
User has Adobe 8 STD and 9 Reader.
Recently as soon as she double clicks any Adobe app, all 3 monitors starts to flash for about 30 seconds.
Occasionally happens with Word or Outlook but always with Adobe.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 8.0, Windows

Is the user hooked up to three different monitors? Are they all using GPU acceleration?

Did you try turning on/off the 2D graphics acceleration in 9? Edit > Preferences > Page Display category.

Sorry but I dont see any 2D acceleration in the Page DIsplay page. There are 3D & Multimedia, Measuring (2D), (3D). On my computer, when I go into the Preferences, all of my monitor flashes for 5 secs and the same for the 3D & Multimedia. Unfortunately I dont know which setting to tweak for the fix.
Thx.

Edit > Preferences > Page Display category in the Rendering area there is a check box for "Use 2D graphics acceleration".

You said this was Reader 9, correct? If so, you should see the following screen:

Well that must be because Reader doesn't think you have 2D acceleration. Do you any of the following graphics accelerators?

Unfortunately, all PC's are issued out from my company "Depot", so whatever video cards are in there is what I have to deal with.
Thanks again for helping.
