Hi There,

I am trying to use Adobe Reader 8.1.2 to put Hyperlinks in a PDF document and for them to be moved folders if needed and to move to a CD and for them to always where ever they are moved to to always retain there link, is there any way of doing this?

ozzy,
You'll need to use something other than Adobe Reader to create the hyperlinks. Otherwise, it is a doable task.

this has started its life as a word document that i have PDF'ed. the hyperlinks are PDF's of drawings. I am wanting to email these documents and put them on to DVD/Cd and move them around in my own folder and for them to keep there orginal links

Then you will need to "relative" links and not "absolute" links for the references and provide a base URL. Once the PDF's are created, you wil lhave to move the entire directrory structure from the base URL folder and all the necessary folders below the base URL folder.

Reader can not create any links.

You will need Acrobat Standard or above to create links within a PDF.
