MSVCP90.dll is missing

Hello All,

I posted this at the Windows Acrobat forum, but I have not heard anything and am very frustrated with this error.

I am incredibly frustrated with this error which I get anytime Acrobat starts SO LONG AS no other PDF file is then currently open.

Of course, the error states that acrobat.exe can't start because MSVCP90.dll is missing from my computer, and that I should try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

I DO have MSVCP90.dll on my computer and I did try to reinstall Acrobat, including uninstalling and re-installing, as well as repair installations (multiple).

I also reinstalled the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005, 2008, and 2010 Redistributables.

I also attempted to restore my computer to an earlier point, but that just screwed up my Firefox settings (reset them somehow) and I was informed that the attempt to restore my computer to an earlier point was unsuccessful.

I have Acrobat Pro 9.4 installed on a Windows 7 Pro 64-bit machine, along with the CS5 Master Collection.

Funny thing, Acrobat still opens and seems to work fine. I hate getting a reminder error every time I open the software. Google provided no solutions.

Any ideas?

Thank you,

It's possible that MSVCP90.dll is corrupt. Have you tried a Windows repair?
