Multiple Instances... Again

Hi there, first post so please be nice!

I am running acobat Standard 7.0 on XP SP2 and would like to run multiple instances for dual monitors. I understand the comman line switch "/N" and know how to use it.

The issue that I have is I work with a database application that contains multiple PDFs that are referenced between themselves and the actual database reports.

I would like to be able to double click a PDF from within the database (ie never dropping to windows explorer as the pathing is horrendus) and have it launch its own instance so that I can see the two reports and cross reference between the two monitors.

Is there a way to default the switch behaviour like in an *.ini file or something so that where ever in windows acrobat launches, it launches a new instance.

I should add, I have searched for this topic but can only find information on the usage of the switch from a shortcut

Thanks,

DD
