I am a new user to Adobe 8.0 professional. I have documents scanned into my system and converted to a PDF, that I need to alter that have fields that are already filed in. Is there a way to clear these fields using Adobe or do I need to "white them out" prior to them being scanned. Thanks in advance. BL

In Acrobat, you can initiate the process of creating an Acrobat form by clicking either Convert An Existing Document or Scan A Paper Form in the Getting Started window, or by opening an existing PDF and choosing Forms > Run Form Field Recognition.Once the form has been converted, you could reset all form fields to clear their content.

Note: PDF form fields that were created in Acrobat Professional can be modified in LiveCycle Designer, but PDF form fields that were created in LiveCycle Designer can’t be modified in Acrobat Professional.
