So I paid someone to make this flier for an event I hold once or twice a year. Then every time I needed it updated with a new date she would just charge a couple dollars. I can no longer contact her via her email... she is either not receiving them or not responding. I have attempted to recreate the .pdf but my attempts aren't very satisfactory.

Her text is clean and crisp

Where mine is very pixely (I know it is not a word). I remade the flier in photoshop at 8.5 by 5.5 inches, which is the size it will be printed at.

If I try and do the text in acrobat it won't allow me to make it large enough.

The printing company wants it in the .pdf format she had it in. Suggestions?

Do you have a copy of the PDF?

Do you have the source document for the PDF?

If not and you have the PDF, you can look at the properties of the PDF and might be able to determine the program that created the PDF.

With the PDF you may find another person the can edit the PDF with Adobe's inDesign.

Since you contracted for the document or file, you should have been provided a copy of the source file whether you could edit or not.

In the future, when you contract someone to create a document for your, make sure it is understood that you have ownership of the work and will be provided a copy of the source document.
