No PDF on Server

I really need someone's insight. A PDF that works fine on my system does not appear when I upload it to my server for use on a site. I cannot figure it out as all my type is embedded. Check with the server administrator as to which file extentions are allow on the server, size limit, and if you have permisson to upload files. Also check your ftp program to see if pdf file type is on the list.
