Hello
I have several scanned PDF files in my directory which I need to OCR so that the files become searchable. As I have lot of them I am looking for a possibility that allows my Mac and Acrobat 7 Pro to open, OCR and save again the existing files with a batch routine.
I would be very happy if someone could provide the name of a tool or Java Script that can do this job.

This feature can be created in Batch Processing.
In Acro 7 Pro:
Under Advanced and then Batch Processing....create a New Sequence.
Title the sequence 'OCR' and click OK.
Double click on the left hand side the selection 'Recognize Text with OCR'.
Run command on: Selected Files...click browse to locate the desired files to be converted.
Select output location: as you desire.
Click OK
Click Run Sequence.
