when i start the software and open a pdf, it displays correctly. when i exit the pdf and open any other pdf, if i try scrolling down, a dark grey background appears and hides all of my text. i cant get rid of the grey background. the only way i can stop it is to completely exit the software and restart it. the first pdf that i open is ok. if i try to open another, the grey background reappears and again, the only to be rid of it is if i exit the software and restart it. i thought it might have been my pdf's, but, thats not the case because i can open them on my laptop or at work. anybody have any ideas how to fix this ?

im running acrobat pro 9.3.1 (not 9.2) with xp pro

thanks

I don't excatly why but you can try another PDF Reader, like Foxit reader or Nuance PDF Reader. they are lighter weight than Adobe Acrobat Reader. Maybe you need have a try.

I will try my best to help you in PDF converison fields, objectively and Neutral.
