Opening PDF document to page #

I have both Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Professional installed on my desktop. I am trying to create a word document that has a hyperlink to a PDF document and have it open on a specific page. When I use the command line paramater, it will only open up to the first page and it opens in professional only. I am not sure if professional is the issue, or if I am doing something wrong. Thanks in advanced!

Hi rscholz73,

Are you experiencing this behavior with Acrobat/Reader 7 in Internet Explorer? If so, this is probably because the integration path between Acrobat and IE was changed. These changes affected how IE sends string information to the Acrobat browser plug-in specifically when using server or local file URLs.
Options are to upgrade to Acrobat 8, use a named destination for the page number, or use a different browser.
