Outlook 2000 will not permit to accept meetings

I have seen another post on this issue with the solution of contacting technical support. We are getting exactly the same issue - with Acrobat 8 standard installed, Outlook crashes when you try to accept a meeting. With it uninstalled then everything works again. Have Adobe provided a fix for this? Is there a list of dlls installed by Acrobat which woudl impact on Outlook? I can then try applying the original dll to see if it works.

Hey Greg. I am having the same problem here in my IT Dept and found something that I am going to try which may resolve both our issues. The offending part seemed to be the Outlook PDF Maker; after it was removed, everything ran fine. I am going to try this and inform you of my findings. Good luck!

UPDATE

The fix for this issue is to remove the Outlook PDFMaker option (during initial setup, remove the option under PDFMaker - Outlook PDFMaker) and it works like a charm. I would think if you already have it installed and the install files cached, you can choose the option to Repair and then remove it. Hope this is helpful!!

This issue was fixed in the Acrobat 8.1 update:
