Hey all,
Let me start by saying I am a very BASIC Acrobat user.
Currently, I use Acrobat to highlight areas of a technical drawing to help illustrate areas that need attention or some kind of work. Unfortunately, I use the Cloud tool to change the color of an area by tracing its outline and changing the properties for different colors.
Is there anything in Acrobat that's similar to the "Paint Can" in MS-Paint that would allow me to quickly fill in outlined areas? This would really help me out.
Or, if there's a good way to convert from Acrobat to Paint and back, that could work as well.
Thanks all,
If you bring up the Properties for the comment (Right click, select Properties) you can set the Fill Color. If the colors in the standard color panel are not what you want choose Other Color to get a custom color picker. Once you have that set you can Right click on the comment again and choose Make Current Properties Default. Now the custom colors you chose will be used for future Comments. Unfortunately, if you use several different colors in each markup session you will have to choose the colors each time. It is possible to create custom toolbars in Acrobat for specific commenting tools with all associated attributes set, but doing that requires more advanced skills with Acrobat and JavaScript.
Hope this helps,
Dimitri
