PASTE tool on the toolbar - Acrobat v9.3.1

"More Tools" offers a "copy" button for the Edit Toolbar but I cannot find "paste".

Can a "paste" button be added to the toolbar or do I continuously have to use "edit>paste" or "Ctrl+V"

Thanks

Once you've copied something, "paste" becomes the first (or only) option on your right-click context menu, provided you're over something that can take the action. The problem with a paste button on the toolbar is knowing where you want something to be pasted - it isn't as obvious as it is in a word processor, as many annotations and input fields don't keep their focus when you click outside them (including on the toolbars).

Good Morning
This doesn't work for me, maybe because of what I am doing.
I work in multi-page PDF documents where I copy and paste stamps, text boxes, objects, and typewriter text from the first instance of it's use to some or all of the remaining pages.
Some of the documents are newly created or scanned by me but most are created by others with an "unknown" version of Acrobat.
I use v9.3.1 and the documents have "no security".
I do recall that there was one time in the last six months when I right-clicked (out of habit) and "paste" was the only operation available, but it hasn't occured again (I frequently right-click without thinking about it).
When I "paste" from the menu the item is randomly placed on the page and I have to relocate it. This if fine and if I could get this from a right-click or a button it would save me many repetitive two-click actions on the menu.
Thanks for your help.

Use the duplicate method where possible, instead of copy-paste. It will not only place the object at the same location, you could also apply it to multiple pages with a single action.

use ctrl+V (program a hot key to execute ctrl+v)
"duplicate" command only works for a button (tools > advanced editing)

Using the duplicate function has possibilities, especially on the projects with many pages. I will have to learn about "forms" (trial & error). But, this might work.
It would still be more productive if there were another method.

Thanks for your help.
