Hi, I am currently running acrobat reader 8. My problem is with regard to pdf attachments on email, when i open a pdf attachment from my email, the attachement open with default settings not with customised settings. where and how can I cahnge this so that when i open my attachments, they open with my customised settings. I am using MS outlook 2003 for my email.

It's impossible to answer this question. We have no idea what you're talking about when you say customized settings. Are you talking about the initial vew settings? Are you opening the PDF in your Web browser or Adobe Reader?

We need some very specific information here in order to answer the question.
