My co-worker and I both have been getting a lot of crashes with Acrobat lately. We both work in it all day designing custom forms for our clients. We are both currently using Acrobat 8 professional.
When we save a form, it comes back with an error and it can't read the file. It's a "dict" error. The form is corrupted and we basically can't get it back. We have our IT people looking into what might be happening. They found a program called PDF Desktop Analysis & Repair Tool. They seemed to think that might help.
Before we try that, I was just wondering if anyone on this forum has used this project before. If so, can you please let me know what you think of it? Any input would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Michelle
Have you looked over the Acrobat 8 Pro Prefllights?
There are several check up and fix up preflights available.
Perhaps one or more may be of use to you.
