PDF files not opening

Hi,
I am using Windows vista with Office 2007 and I am experiencing troubles with opening pdf files in outlook express. I keep getting the message that the file is corrupt and cannot open. My colleague can get the same pdf file and open it using Windows XP. When this file has been downloaded to a removable data stick, I can then open the pdf. I am sure the problem is with outlook express compatibility. Can someone assist?

One suggestion is to clear the Outlook cache.
