PDF Optimization

I have some very large documents that I would like to reduce the file size on. These documents are created in a nightly batch cycle using ABCPdf, and I would like to know if there is a way to programmmically call the PDF Optimizer to reduce the file size? The problem stems from using embedded fonts within eforms fields.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8, Windows

First, If you are using fonts OTHER than the Base14, then you MUST embed them in order for the form to be filled in correctly.

Second, depending on how your "nightly batch cycle" is set up and what it is doing - you may not be able to automate Acrobat for this purpose due to EULA restriction.

However, I will point out that PDF Optimizer can be accessed from the Acrobat Batch functionality.
