is there any way to create a PDF form that has the same properties as an excell form? IE total columns and rows?

Hi nheuberger,

Yes, PDF forms can include calculations and perform quite sophisticated mathematic functions. There are sample files in the Gallery here at AUC ( Gallery is on top menu bar) and you may also want to check out the sample forms that are included in LiveCycle Designer. If you have LiveCycle Designer open bring up the Welcome screen from the Help menu and then you can click on the Explore Sample Files- I believe the Dynamic Order form shows column and row totals.

one more question. i'm trying to total cells in one column from various cells in other column. i'm unable to figure out how to select what cells should be totaled into another cell.
