pdfmaker toolbar and/or printer missing from Microsoft Works

Wondering if anyone can help me figure out how to convert from Microsoft Word? Just bought a new computer - it is running Vista and came with Microsoft Works 9 and Adobe 9 but there is no option or toolbar to convert to pdf from the word program. In the past I had an option under the file menu that said send to pdf. Now I have nothing.

Adobe Reader does not provide a means for creating PDFs from other applications.
You'll need the Acrobat product.

Adobe TechNotes, associated with Acrobat 7.x/3D and 8.x/3D identifiy that
MS Works conflicts with MS Word and prevented the Convert to Adobe PDF menu from appearing in MS Word.
The fix is to remove Works.
As this is a MS issue rather than an Adobe issue it may be that the same confilict still exists.
If so, Acrobat 9 may exhibit the same behavior to the MS conflict presented by Works.

Experienced this on one of my computers. Uninstall of Works was required before I could get
the integration between Acrobat and the Office suite I'd installed.
