PDFTK.EXE error with PDF files created with 9.0

We have been using the PDFTK utility to merge pdf files together for the past few years. We have noticed a problem recently since users have been upgraded to Adobe Pro 9.0. The PDFTK utlility breaks when trying to open PDF files created with 9.0.
Has anyone experienced this? Anyone know a fix or workaround?

Have you contacted PDF Access about this problem?

There were problems with forms at PDF version 1.6, Acrobat 7.
