Permissions - No available system font available

A user contacted me about editing a PDf, which was converted from Publisher. They want to edit the PDF with 8 Pro, however if they go to edit the text using touchup text tool, they get the following message:

All or part of the Selection has no available system font. You cannot add or delete text using currently selected font.

I would tell them to edit original in Publisher, however when their PC was upgraded they lost the original file.

Are there any workarounds to this per chance?

I may have just answered my own question. IF you highlite the text you can change the font to one similar that Adobe has and then you can edit away apparently.

If there is an easier way, let me know otherwise I will go with that one.
