Running Vista Ultimate (32-bit) and Office 2007 and have Acrobat 8.1 Pro installed.
Outlook 2007 issue: When attempting to preview a PDF attachment I get following message after clicking once on the file: "This file cannot be previewed because there is no previewer installed for it". If I double click, Acrobat opens and I can view the file, but that's not "preview".
Vista Explorer: When highlighting a PDF file in Explorer, with the preview pane open, I'm told that "No preview is available".
There is no problem previewing Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG and other files in both Outlook 2007 and Explorer.
How do I fix this VERY ANNOYING problem? I've spent hours searching the Internet for solutions but none to be found, except to download and install FoxIt previewer.
I can't believe that Adobe or someone here does not have a real fix to this issue besides resorting to another third party vendor for a solution.
Please help!
