I have a long pdf, in 8.5x11. It contains, say, 50 DIFFERENT 4-page booklets, or 200 8.5x11 pages. I want to create an 11x17 pdf in "printer spreads". That is, there would now be 100 11x17 pages in this single pdf. Pages would be 4-1, 2-3, 8-5, 6-7, etc. Note that I don't want to actually print this, but to create a pdf like this, to send to a printer. Is this possible in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro? I could do this in either Windows or Mac.
My question here would be a responsibility one. The print provider should be imposing the final document themselves since they have the expertise. You would produce you multi-page PDF as per normal and the print provider would impose on their end and most of he time to fit their substrate/press sizes.
Kindest regards,
Jon
I've been using Acrobat since v1.0 and still get amazed by its power. An Acrobat ACE since 1999
