printed email addresses in text

I have a PDF I need to post to a web site. At this point it has "printed" (not live) email addresses. Can those be hijacked by bad robots, or are they only picked up if they are "live" email links?
Thank you.

Acrobat is probably the program I use most often and I'm learning more every day.

Robots don't scan PDF - they only scan HTML.
