Problem when scrolling down in a pdf document

The system that I support converts reports and converts them to a pdf file. Once this file is emailed and opened if you scroll down the contents of the pdf file and then go back up then, the information is lost.
Any ideas why this would happen.

It may be an issue with the fonts used and how they are embedded. Check File > Properties and click on Fonts at the top. The fonts listed should say (Embedded Subset) or (Embedded) next to each. If they do not (nothing appears in parenthesis), then it is dependent on the fonts loaded on the viewer's system.
- What method are you using to create the PDF? (File > Print, to Adobe PDF Printer or PDFMaker in MS Office)?
- What settings are you using to create the PDF, or example, Standard or High Quality Print?
- Try switching your settings to High Quality Print if you can:

- Have you tried Zooming in and Zooming out on the page that disappears? This could be a screen re-draw issue.
