Hi all,

Would really appreciate help here!

Imagine digital edition of newspaper with many ads in it. I want to save all the ads as stand alone PDFs (Not stagnant images). Read: crop and save.

I want to do this on a big scale (say 20 times a document) so need a faster solution than open, crop whole doc save, rinse, wash repeat. Ideally this would be to have a screenshot selector type tool which when dragged over box saves the image as a text searchable PDF and an do this many times.

Would really appreciate any ideas of software of workarounds for this!

Thanks all

(Working with Acrobat 8 but would buy other software to accomplish this)

Acrobat Pro 8.1.4, Windows

Are the ads always located at the same parts of the page?

Thank you kindly for taking the time to reply.

I really am looking to take ads out of papers (not illegally). Think NYT or WSJ. The ads are where they are placed so will be different sizes and in different locations (Not to be cheeky!).

Therefore I will have to select the ad areas manually. Happy to provide more detail if requisite

Cheers
