How can I remove an element that is on every page, in an Acrobat 8 Pro PDF document? When I right-click on the object and go to find then, select unmarked object; I can select each of these objects throughout the document. I can also search for the text object but cannot select all to delete all of these objects that are identical. How can I delete ALL of a similar object throughout a PDF document?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8, Windows

The only way you can delete objects in a PDF document is to individually click an object with the TouchUp Object tool to select it and press the Del (or Backspace/Delete) key. Acrobat does not permit you use the Find command from a context menu to select obejcts for deletion.

You can click the Scrolling Pages tool to view the document in a continuous pages view, zoom out to see multiple pages, and Shift + Click the same image on multiple pages. Then press the Del (Delete/Backspace) key.

Seems odd. I thought the idea for pdf editing was to make it easy. This seems like a major flaw.

Actually, the original idea was to create a file format (PDF) and viewers (Acrobat/Reader) to view any kind of document created in any kind of program across multiple computing systems. There was never any part of the original plan for Acrobat to be a document editor.

What's come about with releases since the early days are more editing tools, but the program still remains something that's not a document editor.

I have one identical object on every page of a 500+ page pdf. All I wish is to delete this object. You mean there is not in place, some solution that will allow me to do this in one swoop? If they can only implement the Find feature to find the object, highlight them all, them allow me to delete them, that would be one giant leap for Adobe :)
