Removing Searchable Text

I'm running Acrobat Pro 7 on OS X 10.5.

I have a number of Acrobat files that were created from Quark or InDesign.

I need to remove portions of the searchable text, but leave the viewable/printable text (i.e., the image of the text).

Essentially, I want certain phrases to be visible in the screen/print version, but I do not want them to be indexed by a search engine such as Google.

Solutions/suggestions would be appreciated.

You need to Redact the PDF. Version 8 does support this function or you could get a 3rd party product.
