resize existing links

In previous versions of Acrobat (5.05, 6.0, 7.0) it was a simple matter of resizing a link by selecting the link tool, selecting an edge or corner of a link and making the link as big or small as you needed. This worked for links inserted with the link tool or links inserted by PDF Maker in Word.

Now in Acrobat 8 I cannot set a link smaller than one inch wide. Is there a setting "Minimum link size" somewhere? The alternative is to delete then re-create any links that need to be a bit bigger or smaller than one inch. That's a lot of extra work.

Hi jwilson7,

You should be able to resize your links in Acrobat 8. You should still see the arrow tools to resize when the link is selected. Make sure your focus is on the link and also make sure your Preferences aren't changing your selection behavior.

Hope this helps,
Lori
