Running batch sequences on folders

I'm looking at the batch sequence feature in Acrobat. I know I can run a batch sequence on a specified folder but I'm wondering if it just works on the folder or if there is a way to access folders within a folder. I don't see a way but I thought I would ask just in case I'm not seeing something.

It's been a while since I've done a batch sequence but I'm pretty sure it works on the sub-folders as well. But of course the only way to find out is to do a test. Adobe is famous for making changes like this between versions.
