Hi,
I'm trying to create a pdf from a website. (This worked correctly for me yesterday.)
When I select File - Create PDF - From Web Page - enter URL - then create, I get the following error:
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
Then I get a second error:
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe
R6025
- pure virtual function call
Then I get the message:
Adobe Acrobat 9.1 has stopped working
It then closes Acrobat.
I have Windows Vista, Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.1.0.
Thanks for any help you can give!
Rachel
I am getting a similar error when attempting the same thing, but I get it when using Reader 9.0, Flash player 10 and AIR. They ALL seem to have a problem creating a PDF from a web page.
I am using Windows XP.
Today it saved the file I was trying to create after telling me "Could not access Acrobat's Web Capture Facility. Acrobat may be busy or waiting for input."
If I allow it to name the file itself, I get the same error, but it saves the file. When I try to open it it says "Acrobat could not open 'Residetial Land Sales Stocklist Page 1.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn;t correctly decoded) To create a PDF document, go to the source application. Then print the document to Adobe PDF"
Printing to PDF works, but is a pain in the butt!
I have removed all latest versions of Acrobat from my computer and gone back to 8Pro and everything works fine.
Have you had a reply yet?
I couldn't see one on your post for this topic :)
