Save as .pdf from Word creating blank pages

All of a sudden this week I am having problems saving a word document to a pdf document - the result from the save as function is total blank pages, or "file in use error" or even corrupt files. I can print to PDF, but not save as.....I am running Word 10 and Adobe Pro 9....I have tried a re-start, but no luck. Any ideas?

If you are using Create PDF from the Ribbon bar in Microsoft Word this uses the Adobe PDFMaker to create the file and you can try going to Acrobat, choosing Help > Repair Acrobat Installation?

If you are not using the method above and you are clicking the Office Button in Word to create your PDF, then there is a problem with your Word installation (this is not an Adobe feature, but a Microsoft one).
