I recently upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Pro. 8.0. Now each time I open and a new pdf and go to save it via 'save as' it defaults to the temp directory. I am saving high volumes of files. Normally it remembers the directory of where you saved the last pdf file.
How do I get Pro. 8.0 to remember the location of the last saved file like the previous versions did.
Is this a simple setting issue.
In Acrobat : Click Edit, Preferences then click Documents in the left pane. In the Document preference pane, be certain the check box is enabled for Save As optimizes for Fast Web View.
Also check the file associations in Windows. Click Control Panel, select Folder Options, click the File Type tab, and review the file extension .PDF and .PDX to make sure they are being opened with Adobe Acrobat.
