Save Vs. Save As?

When replacing pages within Adobe 7.0 Professional why can i not "SAVE" and am therefore forced to do a "SAVE AS"?

Not sure how you're not seeing Save as an option. Using the Document > Replace Pages command doesn't affect Save vs. Save As.Save As, however, is a better option for you to use when editing PDF files. You'll find the file sizes to be smaller after using Save As and overwriting the older document version.
