Saving Causes Object to be Grouped

I am editing an existing PDF form using Acrobat Pro 8.1.2. Here's my problem:

- I use the TouchUp tool to select a text object.
- Execute Copy and Paste ... now I have a copy of that text object.
- I edit the object's text... everthing's still ok at this point.
- Saved the file, and now this new object and another text object is grouped.

This also happens if I copy and paste multiple text objects. I don't want them grouped. Is this a bug? Is there a way to "ungroup" the objects?

Has anyone found a resolution to this issue? I am having the same EXACT issue. Its very frustrating and i have searched the web for any resolutions and so far no luck.
