Is there a way to save zoom changes and also the "View" tab line weights? How do I keep these changes in the document once I have made them? I am using professional 8.

Open the Acrobat preferences dialog (ctrl + k).
Select Page Display, there is an option called "smooth line art".
If it isn't that you look for, I'm sorry.
I'm only speculating, cause I use a german version.
