saving documents as older Acrobat versions

I am currently using adobe acrobat professional v7 and need to save created PDFs in specific older versions (i.e. 5.0). How do I do this?

Best way is to use the PDF Optimizer. In the PDF Optimizer wizard you'll find a drop down menu for Make compatible with: choose the Acrobat compatibility and double check all settings in all the panes in the PDF Optimizer to be certain to not delete any information from the file when it optimizes.
