scan to pdf results in OVERLY cropped pages

I'm really at a loss here and there's probably a very easy solution.

Every time I scan a multipage document (Adobe 9, clicking "Document" then "Scan To PDF"), some of the pages come out fine, but a number will come out "overly cropped", in other words, just a portion of the page.

WHY does this happen.

I have an HP All In One 6450 printer.

This is VERY frustrating.

Hi, does anyone have any idea on how to resolve this issue? I'm having the same problems.

Start with the scanner's software; direct output to PDF. The problem is not with acrobat. Call HP support.

I would tend to agree with rbogie - We use the Fujitsu 6670 scanner, and rarely does that happen - if fact, if the scanning feed sensor detects what it thinks is a missfeee, it stops.

This sound more like a miss-feed issue, where the paper somehow is stuck when the scanning process begins and either only scans the top 1/2 of the page (while the scanner head is scanning nothing) - or the page is 1/2 dragged through and the scanner head only captures the bottom 1/2 of the page (since it is 1/2 way through already.

I do not work for Fujitsu, but that is the scanner that most of our customers use to can large volumes of pages. If you add RAM, it can scan 90 pages duplex a minute (that is both sides, so 180 scanned pages a minute) at 600 ppi.
