when i have scanned a document through using a document feeder on a scanner i get an error when trying to open the file.the error is:-cant create file [name] right click on the folder you are trying to save to and check you have the correct permissions. but if i scan the doc on the screen its fine. any ideas?
Once the page has been scanned, check its apperance, if it is skewed, run the Optimize Scanned PDF to deskew it. If it looks OK, run OCR Text Recognition.
If using Windows Vista, check your permission to use the scanner.
If you have not used Acrobat to scan your doc, you will have to configure Acrobat to recognize your scanner.
